Using The Metadata Application
The Metadata application provides the type of metadata you want to store. This can be SEO-oriented like keywords or a description, or any other type of metadata that you want to keep about objects.
The Metadata application as it appears in your site admin:
To add a metadata type, click on the "+" button.
- Enter the Name of the metadata type you want to enter (this will auto-populate the Label field).
- Click Save.
Example:
The most common use of metadata occurs for stories in the news <apps/news application. For example, in the Stories model within the News application, you can apply metadata types using keywords and a description.
